Seminar-course on "Life Skills and Employability"

A seminar-course on "Life skills and employability" was held for the youth of Noyemberyan community as part of the "Strengthened families and communities for child development in Tavush" mobile program of the "Ijevan" branch of "SOS-Children's Villages" program policy implementation. Through brainstorming, we found out how much the participants are aware of their skills and how much these skills are developed.

The participants watched videos, took part in various discussions, and were presented with examples of life skills and their discussion and presentation in a more open context, through which they were able to understand the material more clearly and more easily and develop their skills. An innovative approach was taken to this course, involving also a beneficiary of the program with a successful story, who shared his journey with the young people within the theme of "motivation". All this showed the young people entering a new life that one should never give up, everything can be started again and reach great heights.

At the end of the course, the young people were also provided with specially printed literature, all of which are related to life skills and employability. It will be a handbook to help and guide them throughout their lives.
