B2B Fundraiser
SOS Children’s Villages Armenia is looking for a dynamic communicator, motivated and persuasive B2B Fundraiser with a passion for social impact to build lasting partnerships with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Armenia and Armenian diaspora communities abroad.
B2B Fundraiser
Job responsibilities
- Build and maintain partnerships with SME business owners in Armenia and Armenian Diaspora Zones.
- Conduct direct face-to-face (F2F) outreach to business owners and managers by visiting them in their shops or offices, similar to traditional F2F fundraising methods, to introduce SOS Children’s Villages Armenia and present partnership opportunities.
- Present SOS Children’s Villages Armenia’s mission, programs, and impact. Raising awareness about children without parental care, and programs implemented by SOS Children's Villages Armenia.
- Convince SME partners to join as SOS Friends (monthly committed donors).
- Clearly communicate the financial, tax-deductible, and visibility benefits of becoming an SOS Friend.
- Initiate and coordinate joint F2F (Face-to-Face) events by connecting with large companies and arranging employee engagement sessions (30-minute meetings where our team presents to employees and encourages monthly giving).
- Maintain a clear database of leads, contacts, and ongoing partnerships.
- Occasionally work an evening shift from home to accommodate outreach to diaspora communities in coordination with our partners/consultant in diaspora zones.
Required qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience (sales, fundraising, communication, business development, or customer relations preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in Armenian, Russian, and English is essential.
- Persuasive, enthusiastic, and mission-driven personality.
- Basic knowledge of fundraising principles, tax-deduction benefits, or willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
