Social Projects

For provision of educational support, we cooperate with schools and educational institutions to protect children's right for quality education. There is also an opportunity for extracurricular education which is provided in developing groups, training and computer centers. Various events are organized for the children engaged in the project to promote their socialization, personal growth and cultural development. Children are provided with the opportunity to visit different cultural centers, particulary theaters, cinemas, concerts and historical and cultural sites.

Individual and group trainings and psychosocial counseling help parents to improve their parental skills. Due to seminars and awareness-raising activities, families become aware of existing social services and state support systems which help them to protect their rights and become more inclusive.

Within the framework of the project we work towards achievement of economic stability of families by means of acquiring profession and provision of working tools, which enables families to have sustainable income sources in the future.

Where necessary, families receive legal assistance through counseling, lawyers’ presence during court processes and acquiring legal documents.

It is worth mentioning that representatives of Arabkir Family Strengthening Project are members of the Social Support Council, as well as Commission of Trusteeship and Custodianship of the administrative district and are involved in identifying and protecting socially vulnerable families. The project also effectively cooperates with state and non-state bodies of the administrative district.

The administrative district appreciates input of the Family Strengthening Project in the solution of social problems of families, as well as in the process of development of social programs and strengthening of community structures.
