For most young students October 6-7 was just an ordinary weekend. During those days a group of young people were learning about advocacy and how to be a good advocate in order to raise different issues which concern them and find appropriate solutions. These youngsters are the members of Youth Council of the I Matter campaignimplemented by SOS Children’s Villages Armenia. The Youth Council is consisted of 13 young people receiving care in Gavar, Vanadzor and Zatik children’s homes and SOS Children’s Villages, who have come together to discuss concerns of children/youth leaving alternative care and initiate advocacy actions on that topics.
Two members of this Youth Council are going to participate in the I Matter International Youth Council meeting in Brussels together with other young people from 21 countries of Europe and Central Asia.
